Maternal mental health disorders disproportionately affect pregnant, postpartum, and parenting people of color and those from other marginalized communities. These disorders are directly connected to numerous other issues including birth equity, economic security, and child welfare. Perigee Fund brought together a group of experts in maternal mental health and many other fields to discuss the urgency of the issue and how solutions might be achieved through multiple coordinating pathways.
