New— Families at the HEART: Healing, Empowerment, and Access to Relational and Transformative Practices

2026-2028

Families at the HEART is a Perigee Fund initiative focused on strengthening and expanding community-developed intervention models that increase access to culturally rooted mental health support for families during pregnancy and the first three years of a child’s life. This funding opportunity will provide a one-time upfront award of $425,000 to up to six organizations for a three-year grant period (January 2026–December 2028) to support leadership and capacity-building efforts.

Building Together: Equitable Systems for Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Mental Health” Grant

2025-2027

Perigee Fund’s first national RFP provides $2.5 million over two years to fund systems change so more prenatal-to-age-3 families can access mental health supports. Groups of five or more multi-sector partners with a focus on prenatal-to-age-3 mental health and well-being were eligible for the grant. Each of the 10 groups selected for funding submitted an outstanding proposal that was clearly shaped and driven by voices of families.

Maternal Mental Health Equity Fund

2024-2027

The Maternal Mental Health Equity Fund is a national pooled fund that is supported by Perigee Fund, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Community Health Acceleration Partnership (CHAP), Maritz Family Foundation, and Roots & Wings Foundation. The groups selected for funding receive $5 million over three years for general operations, technical assistance, and evaluation and learning support to further develop existing models and services. All of the programs are working within BIPOC communities, led by BIPOC leaders with a community-oriented focus, and demonstrating impact in addressing maternal mental health inequity.
